This activity centre on a peninsula near the city is owned by the Finnish Free Church, and its work is supported by the Friends of Kiponniemi. The premises host seminars, meetings and training courses as well as concerts, celebrations, weddings and corporate wellbeing days. Accommodation ranges from city rooms in the main building to cottages, the newer Herätys building and the retro-style Verkkonen cottage, for groups of 1 to 100 people. Individual cottages or whole cottage groups can be rented.
Facilities include private showers, a sauna, a lakeside beach area, a kiosk, free parking, Wi-Fi and an electric car charging point. The kitchen serves meals and caters for many dietary needs, but it cannot guarantee allergen-free food and has no separate diet kitchen. Special diet meals are prepared only on order, so request them in advance. Pie-based menus can be ordered ahead for groups of at least 15. Seating, parking, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
