This craft beer bar began in 1995 as a café serving draft beer alongside coffee. The rotating beer selection mixes classics with small-brewery products, and new products turn over quickly. There is also a changing cider selection, including ciders from traditional and newer growing regions, with an annual cider week. Some rotating products come in large sharing bottles, and cocktail-style seasonal drinks are on offer too.
The bar has grown to about eighty seats, and the beer cans that once lined the walls have been replaced with decorative stone. Background music is kept at a level that allows conversation. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
