Founded in 1987, the non-profit foundation provides rental housing for pensioners. Accessible apartments range from studios to two-bedroom homes, mostly 37–65 m², in buildings with lifts. Shared facilities include lounges, meeting and hobby spaces, a sauna, gym and laundry room. Some apartments have private balconies.
Applications can be submitted online or posted to the foundation's office. Tenancies follow Finnish residential tenancy law, and residents may apply for Kela housing allowance. Care services are purchased separately from a provider chosen by the resident. The building has a fire alarm system and entrance security cameras, with an accessible entrance and car park.
