Rooted in the Conservative Laestadian revival movement, the Christian association is a member of Finland's Central Association of Peace Associations. Open devotional and Bible meetings take place in its meeting house, homes, churches and parish premises across Kainuu. Members belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Activities for all ages include Sunday school, a family club, youth Bible classes and a seniors' club. Sunday and holiday meetings are broadcast on internet radio and YouTube. The entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
