Coordinated by the University of Oulu, this academic network brings together expertise from the universities of Eastern Finland, Jyväskylä and Lapland. Its Measurement Technology unit has around 40 specialists working on cleantech, health and wellbeing. The Sports Technology unit in Vuokatti focuses on sports biology and technology-based research into Nordic ski sports.
Research, education and regional training solutions are offered to businesses and communities. The work supports development, innovation and internationalisation in Kainuu and Ylä-Savo. The office is in a technology centre, with wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance.
