This accessible supported housing for people with disabilities is in a building from 2019 in the town centre. Four floors hold 15 apartments of 31 to 34.5 m², each with a kitchen and a small balcony. Staff support residents round the clock and visit apartments only with permission or prior notice. Services include supported housing, rehabilitation for spinal cord injury, brain injury and neurological conditions, personal assistance and day activities. It belongs to the Ambea group and was founded in the 1940s by the Finnish Association of the Disabled.
An accessible walking path starts next to the building, and some apartments have lake views. The building houses a rehabilitation service provider and a restaurant, with a swimming hall next door. Parking is available in the adjacent car park house and nearby, and regular buses run to Tampere. Staff can be reached by phone around the clock via the group's care line. The municipal wellbeing services county acts as the organiser of services.
