The island has a lean-to shelter, campfire site, wood store, rest shelter, outhouse and boat landing. It suits family outings and overnight stays. In the snow-free season, the path to the shelter and fire site is accessible with a pushchair or wheelchair.
Visitors are advised to bring their own firewood. A municipal rowing boat from Toosilanniemi landing is another way to reach the island. Cross-country skaters visit in winter.
