This lower secondary school covers grades 7–9 and is part of the local school centre. It has two sports-focused classes, a music class, a flexible basic education class (jopo) and several special education classes. The current name has been in use since the 2004 curriculum reform, when the lower and upper school names were dropped.
The building opened in 1977, the main building was renovated in 2011–2012, and an auditorium, music class and student welfare rooms were completed in 2014. The cafeteria offers a free breakfast and a paid snack. School transport runs, with a designated drop-off and pick-up area, and the municipal library is in the same building. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
