The log building on Poleenharju was completed in 2008 in voluntarily protected parish woodland. It has a fireplace and seating for about 30 people, but no heating.
The doors are always open to hikers. Firewood is kept in the shed, but outdoor fires are prohibited. Visitors must take rubbish away and tidy up before leaving. It can be reached by car or along a roughly four-kilometre mountain bike and ski route from Kitinkangas. Step-free access and parking are available.
