Built by Heikki Kuorikoski in 1817, this wooden church stands on the site of earlier churches. Its predecessor, built by Matti Honga in 1761, was destroyed by lightning in 1813. The present building and the 1873 parsonage survived the major fire of 1934. The church belongs to a Lutheran parish.
Services can be followed live on the parish YouTube channel, and weddings are held in the church. A photographic exhibition in the parish hall foyer covers the building's 200-year history. The entrance, parking area and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
