Juho Rinta-Marttunen built this riverside farmhouse museum's main house in 1894. On Marttusen mäki, displays cover rural tools, household objects and textiles woven and decorated by local women. Original wall benches survive, alongside a 1940s national costume example and a recreated shoemaker's workshop in an attic room.
The grounds include a 1940s smoke sauna, Hannula granary from 1841 and Liisa's restored cottage from 1852, where village children were taught until the 1920s. Summer activities include community singing and outdoor cooking. Visits outside summer are by arrangement. Wheelchair access is difficult.
