The church belongs to the parish, which handles baptisms, confirmation school, weddings and funerals. Volunteers run a weekly weaving room whose proceeds go to diaconal work, and on Fridays a volunteer-run coffee café operates at Pohjanpirtti, with a short open devotional service held there. On weekdays a family club for children and parents serves breakfast, and a choir rehearses regularly.
The parish office and the diaconia office are next to the church. Parish membership can be joined online, and certificates ordered through an external service. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
