This brick neo-Gothic church was designed by L. I. Lindqvist and consecrated in 1889. It is a cross-plan, towered long church, and its large round-arched windows let in plenty of daylight. It seats about 500 people. The organ has 26 stops and was acquired in 1966 from the Kangasala organ factory. The church belongs to Hollola parish. It replaced a wooden church from 1754 that was demolished in 1901; a bronze model of that church stands in the old cemetery. A major renovation in 1989 returned the building close to its original appearance.
Regular Sunday worship is held, and Advent and Christmas concerts are part of the year. Church visits and events can be arranged through the parish office. A ramp leads from the car park to the back entrance, and an induction loop serves hearing aid users. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
