This traditional country bakery makes all its products by hand and has baked bread from traditional recipes for 30 years. It makes its own bread, buns and doughnuts, with organic bread baked on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Lunch includes a soup that changes daily, with pea soup on Thursdays and fish soup on Fridays. Coffee is made from freshly ground beans, and gifts and souvenirs are on sale.
Finnish meat and fish are used where possible, and the potatoes come from a farm about 24 km away. Gluten-free products are baked in a separate space. There are about 32 seats indoors, 16 in the loft and 20 on the summer terrace. After lunch, surplus soup is available more cheaply and can be reserved by phone. Seating, parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
