Active continuously since 1949, this male choir combines choral singing with musical theatre. Its repertoire began shifting towards entertainment productions in 1994 under Eero Jokela. Since 2004 it has been conducted by Olli Oikari, who also arranges its music. The choir has toured abroad and released a recording of Omenankukkien aikaan in 2004.
Singers learn their parts by heart rather than using music folders. Rehearsals and performances take place in the church and Laaksola school auditorium, and new singers are welcome. Accessible parking is available.
