This primary school for grades 1–6 values individuality and acceptance of diversity. Pupils take part in daily language immersion activities and joint PE lessons with Kaskö svenska skolan. Theme weeks complement classroom learning.
The school stands in the northern part of the town island beside a sports field and sports hall. A lit running track and swimming beach are within walking distance. Support includes pupil welfare services, a school nurse and a home-school association. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
