Accommodation is offered in a former pilot station and a log granary in its courtyard on an island. The island also has a lighthouse over 150 years old, described by the website as Finland's first petroleum-powered lighthouse. Weran kahvila serves sweet and savoury food in summer and by prior arrangement from June to September. Day trips, group meetings and recreation days can be arranged.
The boat crossing from the fishing harbour takes about ten minutes, followed by an 800 m walk. Scheduled crossings run on summer Saturdays; charter trips require advance booking. Private boats can use Laxhamn harbour on the east shore. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible; contact the operator beforehand about any assistance that may be possible.
