This handmade knife maker was founded in 1879 by Iisakki Järvenpää. The knives are made by hand at the factory using traditional methods and old machines, and every part, including handles, blades and sheaths, is made in-house. The range includes hunting, outdoor, fishing, kitchen, military and scouting knives, along with belts and jewellery.
Custom products and engraving are made as corporate gifts for companies, associations and groups, with blade engraving, machine engraving, logo tools and sorkoupotus, an inlaid metal decoration on birch-bark handles. The factory store and museum are open on weekdays, and groups can book factory tours that show the whole production process. The company is bicycle-friendly, with secure bike storage, a pump, tools and a charging point. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
