The regional association promotes the interests, livelihoods, services and community life of villages in South Ostrobothnia. It strengthens cooperation between villages and encourages municipalities and other organisations to consider village quality of life.
Activities include meetings, workshops and the annual Village of the Year competition. Every village in the region can become a member. Updates are shared through a newsletter, Facebook and Instagram.
