This annual folk music festival was first held in 1968 and is described as one of the leading folk music events in the Nordic countries and Europe. Its programme blends traditional fiddler heritage with contemporary folk and world music. Close to 30 stages run from morning to late night, all covered by a single ticket.
Group tickets are available for companies, associations and other groups, with a minimum order of 10 tickets, and packages can include tickets, food, drinks and programme, with lunch and coffee options. The food court has a festival restaurant and food stalls, and the food is prepared for the festival. The festival is committed to equality and non-discrimination. Seating, the car park, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
