This family bakery was founded in 1955 and has been run across three generations. Bread and pastries are made by hand, with the dough left to rest and no shortcuts taken with the recipes. Its signature product is Ruisvarras, a dark, dense rye bread. The range also covers buns, sweet pastries, coffee pastries, cakes and cake rolls, and many products are lactose-free.
The bakery shop has a café serving its own pastries and coffee. Orders can be placed online and collected from the shop. The bakery also sells wholesale to shops and cafés, does contract baking to clients' recipes, and its products are sold in K-stores. The entrance, car park, seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
