The Baptist congregation began in 1982 when a basement car-parts shop was converted into a prayer house. It is led by a pastor and board of elders. Its evangelical Baptist beliefs include believers' baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper.
Activities include services, prayer meetings and a sacred music festival. Services and talks can be watched live or as recordings on YouTube. Bible study and counselling resources for life questions are also offered. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible, and a toilet is available.
