It is part of The Icebreaking Company, a city-owned tourism company. The SnowExperience exhibition room has handmade ice sculptures, ice slides and snowy floors year-round. The SnowCastle area offers exhibitions, a restaurant, accommodation and meeting services all year, and the restaurant serves Sea Lapland cuisine. Companies and groups can use meeting rooms and sauna facilities with sea views.
In summer the area has the Seaside Glass Villas accommodation and a camping area, and in winter Winter Park. Icebreaker Sampo is the world's only A1 super-class passenger icebreaker, in tourism use since 1988. In winter, Sampo and Arktis cruises check in at the SnowCastle area. The Gemstone Exhibition shows gemstones and royal treasures. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
