The seamen's mission at Ajos port is an international meeting place for seafarers. Its work includes ship visits at nearby ports, transport and conversation support. Local mission work began in 1939 and belongs to the Finnish Seamen's Mission network.
There is a small canteen and wireless internet. Visits must be arranged with the port chaplain because the site is inside a restricted port area. Groups of around 15 can be received. Volunteers receive port safety training for ship visits and seafarer transport. Accessible parking is available.
