Founded in 1978, the ice hockey club runs junior and senior teams, a skating school and family skating. With around 140 players, it aims to develop its juniors into senior players and cooperates with other clubs.
The city-owned ice hall was built in 2000, on a site used for natural-ice hockey since 1968. The club follows a respect-the-game code of conduct. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
