This annual ski event began as a village-association family outing in the late 1990s. The main Kalli–Karunki route measures 55.3 km one way or 110.6 km return and can be skied in classic or freestyle technique. Extensions added the Lautamaa connection in 2006 and the Kalli–Karunki link in 2017.
Service points are spaced about five kilometres apart, with coffee at six stations and basic service at five shelters. Bus transport is arranged to the start and finish points. Village volunteers organise the event with Keminsuun Kylä ry and Lautamaan Kyläyhdistys. Accessible parking is available.
