The workshop handweaves its own rugs, mainly from cotton jersey dyed in-house and using textile industry surplus. Ready-made rugs are sold alongside bespoke rugs based on the weavers' designs or customers' colour and pattern wishes. The business began in 1983 and continued on the same principles after a change of ownership in 2020.
The shop also sells cotton weft, LP and mop yarns and other weaving supplies, and provides rug weaving services. Elävä Lankakori, a yarn and fabric shop, operates under the same roof. The entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
