Founded in 2012, the residents' association is politically and religiously non-aligned and serves all local residents. Its weekly programme includes activities such as crafts.
The community room is in Honkanen multipurpose building and has a staff worker. A computer and printing are available, with the Rantalakeus newspaper provided for reading. Monthly programmes and news are published online and on Facebook.
