The store opened in 2005 as Väinönmarket, and a new Mega shopping centre opened across the road in 2011. The store area is over 5,200 m².
The same building houses a Hesburger restaurant, MegaCafe and an St1 fuel station. Customers can use the MegaBonus loyalty card and a part-payment option through Resurs Bank. The waterside location offers boat berths for customers and parking for buses and caravans. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
