The waste station belongs to Lakeuden Etappi Oy, a waste management company serving the Lakeus area. Its service area has waste stations, RE-points and a waste treatment centre. It handles waste collection for detached houses, housing companies, holiday properties and municipal buildings, and collects biowaste and packaging waste.
RE-points can be used around the clock as self-service with the RE app. The OmaEtappi online service lets customers check and change their details and collection schedule. The company also runs Korjaa.se, a service linking repairable items with local repairers. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
