Built in 1864–1867 to Otto Korkiakoski's design, the cruciform church seats around 350. A gallery sits above the main entrance, and the north transept contains a Porthan organ completed in 2017. Repairs followed plans by Yrjö Sadeniemi in 1916 and Saara Juola in 1974.
Baptisms, weddings and funerals are booked through the parish office. A ramp leads to two wheelchair spaces, and a hearing loop is installed. Toilets, including an accessible toilet, are in an outbuilding. Accessible parking is available in the churchyard.
