Founded in 1981, this professional-led amateur theatre is part of the municipality's education and leisure services. Its hobby activities are aimed at children and young people over 9. Members meet weekly in home groups to practise theatre basics and create performances. The association Masalan nuorisoteatterin kannatus ry supports the work, and its members are called MaNulainen.
Members can help other groups with lighting, sound, costumes and stage building, receive training from in-house instructors and hired professionals, and watch other members' productions for free. The theatre works with local schools, the art school and the music institute. Tickets for municipal productions are sold through an online shop, and email reservations are no longer possible. Summer theatre camps take registrations online. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
