Founded in 2002, the ice hockey club began in the year Varuboden Areena opened. It has junior teams and an under-22 team. Former players have competed at Finnish championship and world championship level; Hayley Wickenheiser joined in 2003.
Age-group teams accept new players regardless of skill level. Summer sports camps for children include lunch and a snack. Teams have also travelled to matches in Sweden and Germany. Accessible parking is available.
