This day activity service is for adult residents with intellectual disabilities in the group homes run by Villa Sipriina Oy Ab. It runs on weekdays in a shopping centre in the heart of the town. Activities include handicrafts, current-affairs discussions, music and games, following the seasons and calendar events and shaped by residents' own wishes.
Outings include local walks, shopping trips, cinema, theatre, spa visits and cruises. Residents arrive on foot or by car. The central location gives access to town services and local sports and culture venues. A few times a year there are discos for residents and local people with intellectual disabilities. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
