This family-run bakery has operated since 1985 and has a shop and a konditoria café. The range includes filled cakes, roll cakes, cheese and quark cakes, cream and cream-puff cakes and jelly cakes. The top-selling group is hot savoury pastries made from local raw materials, and the shop also sells sweet and savoury coffee pastries, breads, sandwich cakes and gift vouchers.
A mobile sales van, Näpsä, visits markets and events in the region, including Joensuu. Raw materials are sourced as locally as possible, preferably from its own economic region, and the bakery focuses on minimising food waste and on energy efficiency. Online orders must be placed 2 to 3 days ahead, and jelly cakes cannot be ordered for next-day pickup. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
