Founded in 1908, the home economics association organises cooking and baking courses, trips and events. Four activity groups operate in Kiteenkylä, Kiteenlahti, Savikko and Tasapää, with members welcome at association-wide activities. During wartime it organised clothing and provision work for the front.
Its Marttala meeting space hosts courses, meetings and bazaars and is available for hire. An Arabia Arctica Resta tableware set can also be rented. Members can borrow patterns for the local national costume.
