This learning environment combines studies with alpine skiing or snowboarding training. Students can pair their training with upper secondary school or with vocational upper secondary studies at REDU. The training groups are AlppiHiihto (alpine skiing), MoniTaito, FreeRide, FreeSki, JuniorTeam and lower secondary school camps. Coaching is provided by Finnish specialists, with a focus on a learning attitude and safety.
Applications for the AlppiHiihto, FreeRide, FreeSki and MoniTaito groups open every winter, and the lower secondary camps have a separate application. Alpine skiers take joint entrance tests with the other alpine schools (Levi, Ruka, Tahko). Its values include Lapland's nature and snow, innovation, and hospitality towards students and their families. The village shops, health centre, library, sports hall and ski trails are within walking distance.
