Designed by Bertel Liljeqvist, the Lutheran church was consecrated in 1941. The single-tower long church has pale rendered walls and a high pitched roof. Uuno Eskola's mosaic altarpiece was dedicated in 1953, and the 34-stop organ was built by the Kangasala organ factory in 1978. There are around 900 seats.
A ramp leads to the main entrance, with two accessible parking spaces nearby. An accessible toilet, loan wheelchair, hearing loop and Braille hymnbook are available. There is a projector and screen. During events, visitors are asked to use the parish hall car park so the emergency access lane stays clear.
