The municipal theatre presents its own productions, guest performances and co-productions. Some guest performances take place at the Fordell hall of Musiikkikeskus Snellman, and some performances are in Swedish. Open rehearsals with the cast and crew are sometimes held, with free admission.
The ticket office is at Teatteritalo Vartiolinna. Free production introductions of about 10 to 15 minutes are held before shows, and groups can request an introduction of their own. Main stage performances are accessible, and the Vartiolinna lift and entrance were repaired after water damage. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
