This Christian non-profit association was founded in 1971 to support mission work and runs a bookshop, a second-hand shop and a café. The bookshop opened in 1975 in the Neristan old town area and sells Bibles and Christian literature. It operates in a log building more than 100 years old, one of the largest wooden buildings in the old town.
The second-hand section spans cellar storage and upper-floor rooms over three metres high, with outdoor storage from spring to autumn. The café is open year-round and expands to the inner courtyard in summer. The association works in an interdenominational spirit and does not represent any single denomination. Mission work is funded by proceeds from the second-hand shop and other activities. The staff are largely volunteers, with a small paid team. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
