The physiotherapy clinic treats musculoskeletal conditions and problems of motor control, biomechanics and balance, including prevention. Treatment uses manual therapy, equipment-based treatments and therapeutic exercise, and clients are treated as a whole, taking the connection between mind and body into account. The practice has over 30 years of physiotherapy experience, and treatment can also be given as a home visit.
The gym has Technogym equipment, free weights and space for functional training. Group exercise is offered through the adult education centre in autumn and spring and outdoors in summer. There are two locations: the village centre and Äkäslompolo. Direct billing to insurers is available, and Edenred, Epassi, Smartum and TYKY benefits are accepted. Online booking requires Suomi.fi identification. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
