Designed by Veikko Larkas, the church was built in 1965 on a former rectory field. Seating around 400, it has a 15-stop organ built by the Kangasala organ factory in 1977 and an altarpiece by Urpo Vainio depicting Jesus visiting a local home. The adjoining parish hall and office were completed in 1983.
The church hosts services, memorial gatherings and other parish events. Access is step-free, with a hearing loop, accessible toilet and accessible parking.
