The art and craft centre hosts changing exhibitions in a protected historic building. Activities began in the early 1990s under visual artist Outi Markkanen and have continued under various operators. Its shop sells local handicrafts, souvenirs, craft supplies and treats.
Local craftspeople lead courses and workshops. A pop-up café opens on busier days, serving drinks and sweet and savoury snacks. Tourist information is also provided. The exhibition space is upstairs, reached by old wooden stairs, and the premises are not wheelchair accessible. Accessible parking is available.
