This Finnish manufacturer makes the Oplu driving instructor pedal set, used to give driving lessons to learners with a learner permit. The set is designed to fit all passenger cars and is installed in the passenger footwell. It is mounted on a plywood base fixed to the front seat mounting bolts with metal strips, so the car floor is not drilled. The company states the product is Traficom-approved and not subject to vehicle inspection.
The range includes a complete set with pedal, instructor mirror and magnetic triangle, plus a rear-view mirror, a minor driver code and replacement cables (1.4 m and 2.0 m). The pedal can be removed and reinstalled after the lessons, and its angle and length are adjustable. The company says the pedal has been made for over ten years and used by thousands of learner drivers. Products are sold online with delivery across Finland.
