The restaurant is inside the Merikeskus Vellamo museum centre and caters for the whole building. Weekday lunch, coffee and cakes are served, along with a weekend brunch buffet and events. Brunch comes with sea views, indoors or on a large terrace. The lunch menu includes vegetarian and meat options, with a dessert included in the lunch.
Group catering for meetings, coffee service and celebrations is available for groups of at least 10 people. The event hall has sea views and suits parties, and children's birthday packages are offered. Tables can be reserved on the restaurant's own website, which also has an online shop. Vellamo also has meeting rooms, an auditorium, the historic icebreaker Tarmo and a boat hall. Seating, parking, the entrance and the toilet are wheelchair accessible.
