Built in 1937 as an engineers' house guest sauna, the wooden building has an electric stove, showers, changing room, fireplace room, toilet and kitchenette with a fridge. A sea terrace overlooks the factory and Popinniemi bay. The venue holds about 15 to 20 people, with six or seven on the sauna benches at once.
Year-round hire has a four-hour minimum. Book by email or phone at least three working days ahead; service is in Finnish and English. There are no dishes or cooking utensils, but catering can be arranged through Kantola. A towel and toiletries set can be rented. Steps and thresholds make it inaccessible to wheelchairs, though parking is nearby. Only assistance and guide dogs are allowed.
