This nature trail of about 4.5 km runs mostly through city-owned forest and shoreline areas. The route crosses the island to rocky shores on the southern Gulf of Finland, with sea views. There are two alternative routes to choose from. The coastal nature, wildlife, forest plants and bare rocky shores change with the seasons.
The trail is pet-friendly, so it suits walkers with dogs. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Accommodation is available nearby at Santalahti Resort and Beach Hotel Santalahti, so the hike can be combined with an overnight stay.
