Founded in 1945, this aviation club focuses on gliding. Five flight instructors train new glider pilots under Traficom supervision. Activities include a glider pilot licence course with theory studies, and the club maintains an aviation museum.
Membership is also open to people who do not plan to fly, with various ways to take part in the hobby. Theory course starts are announced on the website. A weather camera shows local conditions, and annual flight statistics have been published since 2010. The club also organises an annual aviation day.
A club participant or museum visitor, share your experience of the activities on Suomi Guide.
