This service housing centre for older adults was completed in 1999. It has 72 community service apartments and 12 round-the-clock assisted living apartments. The apartments range from 27 to 54 m², are accessible, and lifts reach all areas. Hoivakoti Sinisiipi, a 12-place round-the-clock assisted living unit, operates on site. The centre is run by Palvelukotiyhdistys ry.
Community living includes meal services and help with daily life, and a multidisciplinary staff provides care, cleaning and laundry. Shared facilities include a dining hall, a sauna and swimming pool section, a gym, and lounge and meeting rooms, and the inner courtyard garden is open to residents year-round. Apartments are rented, and residents may apply for Kela's pensioner housing allowance. Applications go through the Kymenlaakso wellbeing services county housing guidance or by application form.
