This is the home arena of KooKoo, a professional ice hockey club that plays in the Finnish Liiga. The club's motto is #yksijoukkue (one team), and it aims to be a shared pride of the whole Kymenlaakso region. Themed game nights are held here, such as a Halloween-themed match, and the club runs a corporate network for local businesses with Diamond, Gold, Plus and Basic partner tiers.
A lunch restaurant operates at the ice hall and at the Veturi shopping centre. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
